We encourage you to call our competitors. Get a quote on anything they have to offer. Then call us. We will always give you a better price or match the competition's price, and further give you excellent prices on many items we have available that the competition does not have to offer.
As an example, we now have a full line of close ratio gears for the 915, 930 4-speed, and G-50 and G-50/50 transmissions. More and more of our customers are discovering the major advantages of proper gearing in their cars. Close ratio gears can make the same car feel as if it had substantially greater horsepower.
Another example is our line of turbochargers. Whereas our competitors generally offer only the K-27 and K-29 turbochargers, we have these units as well as a variety of other turbochargers, including the awesome IMSA type K-36, as used on our T-3 engine.
We also have the PowerHaus Stage II and Stage III turbochargers, which both provide design and technological benefits not available from the German K-series.
A further example is our line of special high compression pistons and cylinders not available elsewhere. These are available in any compression ratio, with valve pocketing already machined in.

If you have a U.S. or European model 930, the motor will have approximately 430 horsepower. The US model cars came stock with 282 hp and Euro cars 300 hp. The US model cars came equipped with a catalytic converter which caused a decrease of 18 horsepower. This package not only produces 130 additional horsepower, there is also significant improvements in the torque and throttle response. Turbo lag is greatly reduced with the turbo spooling up 800-1000 rpm's sooner. See Dynomometer Chart.
In regards to the horsepower figures above, please keep in mind that these are approximate numbers. The motors CIS injection system and intake manifold are a limiting factor when it comes to making power above 450 horsepower. Items such as our PH Sport camshafts (similar to the ones used in the 3.6 turbo S) will add 20-25 horsepower. The camshafts will widen the "power band" and deliver peak power around 6300 rpm's instead of 5500 rpm's. These camshafts will build power sooner and last longer. For the above package, they will put the motor right at 450.
PowerHaus has a lightweight clutch package available, which will eliminate about 15 pounds at the crank. This weight savings allows for quicker revving, especially off the line before boost. The pressure plates have a much higher clamping load for the high horsepower and torque motors. The package comes complete with our PH increased clamping force lightweight pressure plate, 8-puck carbon/kevlar disk, release bearing and extension, billet starter ring gear spacer, and all hardware. The entire assembly is high-speed spun-balanced.

The PowerHaus LEVEL 2 Package yields a motor that will put down a reliable 410 HP at the rear wheels (480HP to flywheel). There is a significant increase in bottom end power (pre-boost) due to the higher 8.0:1 compression pistons. The motor will rev up much quicker from eliminating 15 pounds of weight with the PH clutch package. The Fuel Enrichment Controller, used in conjunction with the CIS injection, provides enough fuel for a motor of this caliber with no risk of detonation. The FEC has complete in-cockpit adjustment. As an option, we offer air:fuel ratio meters to monitor the mixture. This is a 15 LED display which easily mounts anywhere in the cockpit. The driver then knows precisely how much fuel to add with the FEC. The air:fuel meter includes the wiring harness and O2 sensor.
This package has been installed in numerous vehicles with consistent results, including the PowerHaus "Orange Car". All products are the result of numerous hours of street, track, and dyno testing. Full dyno results using a Dynojet model 248 chassis dynamometer are available. Please call for color graphs.

With a gain in compression and displacement, the overall power and torque is greatly improved throughout the rpm range. The car accelerates faster and pulls stronger. The turbo lag is further reduced, building boost at least 800 rpm quicker.
To prevent detonation, our crankfired twin-plug system is used. This is fully programmable, whereas the old 935-style twin-plug distributors have a fixed advance curve. By programming the timing you can have a motor with stronger acceleration, and more spark retard for more horsepower as the boost comes on. The result is simply more power from the same motor. (Twin-plug ignition also prevents detonation when high octane gasoline is not available.) Our system includes both coil banks, our custom mounting plate, an anodized distributor plug and pulley, nickel-plated trigger wheel, and custom wires. We offer custom Nology wires and plugs
Our Stage III Turbo incorporates many design upgrades, including a split volute turbine housing and a dual inlet compressor. It is much more efficient, and spools up quickly with a large displacement 930 motor. Our Monster intercooler is designed to take the 1000 cfm airflow of our Stage III, and allows the car to run more boost safely. The electronic wastegate controller actually "learns" the boost curve of the wastegate, and keeps the wastegate closed until the programmed boost level is achieved. This causes the turbo to spool up sooner, building even more mid-range HP and torque, as well as peak power.
PowerHaus offers a full range of gauges to monitor your engine, as well as interior items for both safety as well as comfort. For our Level 2 package, we recommend adding the air:fuel meter for calibrating the FEC, and our intercooler temperature meter to monitor intercooler efficiency. With the PH Level 3 package, the additional boost gauge and exhaust temperature gauge should be used.

The PowerHaus header is made of #321 polished stainless steel primary and secondary tubes. The flanges are all made from billet stainless steel. The system can be built with or without heat exchangers. The header weighs 26lbs with heater boxes, compared to 42lbs stock (and without heater boxes our headers weigh even less). We sell complete systems with all gaskets, oil lines, and a special wrench for an easier installation.
Our header will increase exhaust flow velocity to the turbocharger by eliminating approx. 30 inches of exhaust travel at the primary tubing and 34 inches at the secondary tubing, thus reducing turbo lag up to 1000 rpm's. You will experience a dramatic increase in throttle response while producing more torque and horsepower (approx. 35-42) throughout the power band. The lightweight header will reduce sprung weight on the rear of the car, as well as reduce heat build up under the engine.
Our mufflers are made of 100% stainless steel, and come completely polished. We see an average of 15-20 horsepower increase over stock. The drastic reduction in back pressure allows the exhaust gasses to exit the turbocharger much easier. Our muffler will change the tone of the exhaust to a deep throaty rumble. Both our header and muffler are direct bolt-on equipment. Either one can be used in conjunction with the factory set up. Please call for current prices.

PowerHaus now manufactures pistons and cylinders for the 911-series motor. The PH racing pistons are superior to the Mahle OEM and sport pistons in several aspects.
First, our pistons are available in any compression ratio, while OEM turbo pistons are typically only 7:1, and Mahle sport turbo pistons are 7:1 or 7.5:1, we typically manufacture and stock both 7.5:1 and 8:1 pistons. Increased compression ratios produce better throttle response, reduced turbo lag, and increases in horsepower and torque. Our pistons are especially valuable in turbo engines where lag is an inherent problem.
Our special piston crown design utilizes Porsche 962 technology to produce more efficient combustion. Also, PowerHaus racing pistons have pressure fed oiling to the wrist pin, which the factory and Mahle sport pistons do not. Wrist pin and wrist pin bore longevity are thus increased. Further, our pistons have ten inner oil galleys; factory pistons have four. This helps our pistons run cooler and last longer. PowerHaus pistons also have a longer piston skirt to prevent rocking in the event of detonation. RUF "3.4L" (3.369cc) pistons were notorious for being noisy and damaging cylinders because of their short skirt.
A PowerHaus piston assembly (piston, wrist pin & locks, and piston rings) is lighter than a factory assembly, even though it has more compression and a higher crown! The factory 930 7.0:1 assembly weighs 622.5 grams; a PowerHaus racing assembly weighs only 596 grams. This allows the engine to rev up quicker and operate at higher rpm levels with greater ease.
Our pistons are designed such that the valve relieving is built into the piston, allowing for the use of virtually any camshaft profile, including the very aggressive PowerHaus T-3 cams. There is no need for further machining, whereas factory pistons usually require deeper valve pockets for sport camshafts. This takes away from the already low 7.0:1 compression ratio.
PowerHaus' cylinders are made from a high silica-content aluminum alloy, superior to Mahle cylinders. A key difference is the PH cylinder's ability to dissipate heat faster than an OEM cylinder. This eliminates cylinder head studs from pulling out of the case. Further, the material our cylinders are made from is stronger than Mahle's material, and accepts machining (such as flame-ring cutting) better than OEM cylinders. Our cylinders also incorporate a durable nickel-silicon-carbide coating, just like OEM cylinders. Finally, unlike the OEM 97mm barrels, our cylinders will not split under racing boost levels.

Brembo S4 Calipers & OEM Rotors
The S4 caliper upgrade for the 930's is an excellent and easy way to increase stopping power for your 930. By changing the front calipers only, the surface area per brake pad is increased from 6.6 sq. inches to 10 sq. inches per pad. Multiplied by four pads, this equals 40 sq. inches verses 26.4 sq. inches stock. This is a 52% increase in braking power. The kit comes complete with new calipers, adapters, pads, bolts and instructions.

3.6 TURBO "BIG RED" Brembo Calipers and special PH Rotors
Our 3.6L Turbo "red" caliper and rotor upgrade for the 930's is the best way to stop your 930. The brake pad surface area is increased from 6.6 sq. inches to 11.25 sq. inches per pad, multiplied by four pads equals 45 sq. inches verses 26.4 sq. inches stock. This is a 70% increase in braking power. The kit comes complete with calipers, special vented and slotted 12.75" rotors (cross-drilled also available), billet adapters, pads, bolts and instructions. For the rear we use the little red calipers, adapters, pads, bolts, and retain OEM rotors.

An easy way to upgrade your "S" caliper brakes to 1978 and later 930 specifications. Our kit comes with remanufactured late style Brembo Turbo calipers, our special 12" vented and cross-drilled rotors, and billet 6061 aluminum hats. These rotors eliminate the need to buy the expensive factory 1978-80 rotors and hats or update your hubs. The calipers are machined to be a direct bolt-on, and we include Performance Friction brake pads. Calipers can be painted OEM Porsche red upon request.

PowerHaus offers an excellent all-around setup for street and weekend track cars. This is the same package we ran on our 935-bodied "Yellow Car" for several years with fantastic results. It includes thicker special gun-drilled hollow torsion bars, stronger adjustable hollow anti-sway bars, stainless strut brace, and adjustable rear spring plates. The Yellow Car, although by far firmer than a stock 930, is still fully driveable on the street and is still very comfortable.

The next upgrade would be to add new shock absorbers. As an option, we have specially valved Sport shocks and strut inserts that are excellent for both street and track use.

The finest setup available is the RSR coil-over suspension. Our package includes new threaded Bilstein struts and shocks, all 4 Eibach racing springs, billet spring collars and perches, and new spherical bearing upper front strut mounts. This kit eliminates the torsion bars which saves weight and allows for a quicker reacting suspension. A complete package for all 1976-1989 930's.

for 1976 to 1988 911 Turbos
PowerHaus now has available a special five speed transmission that can be installed in 930's that were built with four speed transmissions. Our five speed is installed without changing or modifying the torsion tube or chassis. For 1978-1988 930's, a pair of special steel mounts are welded on for the transmission cradle to attach to. The procedure is very simple.
This transmission is a substantial upgrade, in that besides having five speeds, the clutch is converted to hydraulic operation, making clutch use easier. Further, the transmission itself has more modern synchronizer components than does the four speed, making it easier and smoother to shift and also allowing for quicker and harder shifts. Our special high performance lightweight clutch is utilized with this transmission.
The package includes the transmission, clutch, throwout bearing, pedal assembly, hydraulic fluid reservoir, all necessary hydraulic and shifting components, special mounting components, and a special starter ring gear.
When we machine the transmissions, we do it right. Instead of just cutting the main shaft back at the splined end (where the clutch rides), leaving minimal splined area, we hard weld material behind the splined area and re-spline the shaft. This gives the splined area the strength that the factory deemed necessary. The whole assembly is then heat treated.
We can also build these transmissions with special gear ratios. Please call for further information on special gear setups. The basic gearing setup provided in our transmissions, however, is excellent and would be more than ample for most applications.
